Joseph Gibson, known professionally as So Marv3L, is an American rapper, singer, and song writer. Born April 5, 1989, in a small town outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, So Marv3L grew passionate for music at an early age, learning to play guitar on his own and would write poetry and sing R&B as well as gospel music. In high school he joined the Kings Mountain High School Choir and Kings Revue winning multiple national choir competitions and was awarded ‘Best Male Vocalist’ and ‘Journey Man’s Award’.

After graduating high school, So Marv3L joined the United States Army, serving in Iraq as well as Afghanistan. While serving overseas, he began developing his style in R&B and Rap. Soon after arriving home from the military, So Marv3L began releasing remixes and mixtapes on sites such as ReverbNation & NM1, and fans quickly grew to over 10,000. Soon after, he signed a management deal with Lisa Jolly, CEO of 1WomanBrand, to headline SUS world tour with Daz Dillinger, Reo & Ricky Varnado, Salute The Soldier, Rekk Squad, and Jae Cross.

After 5 years of no release, now with the help of Wealth Nation, and receiving emails from fans on how they could purchase and support the So Marv3Lous movement, So Marv3L developed an official website for his fans to always “catch the vybe” and have the most efficient access to the So Marv3L brand. Now developing his first Album ‘Divine Comedy’ and releasing official singles,So Marv3L is humbled to embrace this new chapter of life and show a side he hasn’t shown before.
